PPCA Administrative Unfairness

Home > Letters & Reports > PPCA Administrative Unfairness

The Office Of The Ombudsman was asked to investigate a response concerning a complaint which had been made to the Protection For Persons in Care.
The Ombudsman found four counts of Administrative Unfairness. He noted that the Investigator for the Protection For Persons in Care focused on the complainant, investigating the complainant rather than the complaint.
The Ombudsman also concluded that the Ministry for Seniors “believes that it is exempt from the rules of natural justice”.
