An Edmonton man has been found guilty of starving his

autistic son to the point he resembled a “concentration camp victim.”

The 59-year-old father was found guilty of failing to provide the

necessities of life, unlawful confinement, and assault with a weapon.

“He looked like a victim from a concentration camp,” said Crown prosecutor,
Chantelle Washenfelder, adding he was found in “deplorable conditions,”
lying on a bed in his room in his own bodily waste with his arms and legs all curled up.
