Ms. Agnesa Lednicka RN,
Ward Manager,
Capital Care Lynwood, Edmonton, AB

Dear Madame:

RE: FLORA L’HEUREUX Room #402, Lynwood Nursing Home, 8740 165 Street, Edmonton, AB T5R 2R8

We find it most troubling that Ms. L’Heureux is confined to a room that Is extremely dusty due to previous construction within the room and now without the room. Everything within and without the room is covered with a fine dust.

She suffers from severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Furthermore the room:

  • has no window
  • has no natural lighting
  • presently appears to have no movement of air within the room
  • has no lock on the door, she has had expensive clothing and other items stolen

We respectfully submit that the room should be considered totally unsuitable for someone with severe breathing difficulties.

We applaud the work men for providing a clean worksite, nevertheless the dust level is unacceptable.

Thank you. We would be grateful for your investigation into our concerns.

Yours most truly,

Elder Advocates Of Alberta Society
