Persons who reach the age of 75 years must have aphysical exami

by a physician before they can apply to renew theirdriving license.

They must also bear the cost of that examination.

Alberta citizens must undergo this scrutiny even though they may

neverhave had an accident or charges laid against them.

Young persons applyingfor licensesare not required to follow

this process. We perceive this to be age discrimination.
