Dear Honourable people:
AHS is probably the most powerful government department with well over 11,000
people and increasing in size annually.
They are becoming answerable only to themselves.
They totally control Continuing Care and access to any Level and Long-Term
Care which they are converting to Palliative Care.
The care requirements in Long-Term Care are increasing as residents become
increasingly care dependent but there are no concurrent increasing care
staff numbers.
Care staff are becoming increasingly overworked and overwhelmed. Why are you not concerned about this?
Why is there no public outcry from those in charge of the vulnerable in these facilities??
