Home > Blog > MULT-MILLIONAIRE SENIOR DENIED RIGHTS: PERSONAL DIRECTIVES ACTMulti-millionaire senior, detained behind locked doors at Rosedale GriesbachAssisted Living, is being denied rights concerning the Personal Directives Act.Staff are acting in breach of an Alberta Statute of Law.OnJune 22/07, Senior approachedCapital Health Supportive Living Case Manager,RN,Marilyn Wright & requestedto see the PersonalDirective whichallegedly exists.She informed him, it was”confidential”.On July 16/07, Marilyn Wright RN, again denying him the Personal Directive,strongly informed the detainee,that he would“never get out” of there. To hisgreatdistress, she told him he would “never leave“.On July 17/07, other Rosedale staff informed the senior citizenthat they could notgive hima copy becausethere was no copy machine at Rosedale.
ThePERSONAL DIRECTIVES ACTCHAPTER P-6 Part 2 (4) “When a determination of lack of capacity has been made under subsection the person making the determination must provide a copy of the declaration to the maker.”The Act also states, Part 2 (4) (b)“that the maker may make an applicationto thecourt for a review of thedetermination”.The Act,Part 7, Section 31, further states that “Any person who “conceals” is guiltyof an offence andliable to a fineof not more than $10,000.”
