Nursing home nurses have told the Melbourne Magistrates
Court their superiors ignored their complaints about a
co-worker accused of raping his patients.
Henry Alexander, 34, is charged with raping four elderly
dementia patients over a six-month period last year.
His former co-workers told the court Alexander assaulted
patients while attending to their hygiene needs, and was
rough and cruel with them.
One nurse said her written complaint was ripped up by her
superior and another nurse was told she was an unwilling
worker after she made a verbal complaint.
