The Office of the Public Guardian is under review by government.
Hearings
will be held across the province throughout this month and a final
report
should be completed within two months.
At one of the focus groups we were invited to attend, the question was
asked, “Do you trust your guardian?” Four out of six attending,
dependent
adults strongly stated, they did not.
