Tulsa, Oklohoma A former Tulsa nursing home aide was sentenced Monday to sixyears in prison on two counts of caretaker neglect for the showerscaldings of two disabled residents.Drew, now 41, worked as a nurse’s aide at the Green Park Nursing& Rehab Center, 3910 Park Road.She pleaded guilty in July to the two felony counts.Prosecutors asserted that Drew put the residents in an overheated showeron March 1 without ensuring that the water temperature was safe.Severeburns resulted.Both residents were mentally disabled, and one was blind.One was burned over 30 percent of his body, according to reports.Green Park Nursing & Rehab Center has since closed.
