Certain “Physicians” in Alberta are using ZYPREXA as a vehicle for Euthanasia of the elderly inNursingHomes – without a doubt.My Mother was given ZYPREXA for 48 days without the family’s knowledge – in fact this informationwas very carefullyhidden from family members, by both the doctor and the Nursing Home.After she passed away, the “Attending Physician” got his brother to fill out the Death Certificate withfalse information.When I contacted my Mother’s so-called “Attending Physician” regarding this, he replied with a warningTo me”requesting that all communication cease“.The doctor who prescribed this drug had NEVER SEEN MY MOTHER IN PERSON, neither did the doctorwho filled out the Death Certificate!The doctor who now “ordered” this deadly drug, was a totally different doctor, who again had NEVER SEENMY MOTHER in person.His only reason to be involved in my Mother’s situation, was to “order” this drug, then never to be heardfrom again!There is no shortages of doctors in Alberta.Every person (or their representative) in a Nursing Home in Alberta needs to request a copy of the”Statement ofBenefits Paid” from Alberta Health and Wellness.I’m quite sure they will find as I have, that there are doctors from every corner of the provincecharging to thePHN of the elderly, then refuse to provide records to show what they billed for.No one audits or polices these billings.
